Mrs. Meindl

Catholic Classroom Mrs. Meindl has been a member of St. Mary’s Parish since 1989, when she enrolled her three children in the school. When the principal discovered that Rosemary had a degree in education, she quickly recruited her to serve as a substitute teacher. Over the course of the next few years, she became involved in volunteering at the school and church. While her children attended St. Mary’s, she served as PTO’s treasurer, vice-president and president at various times. She coordinated the taffy apple sale in the Fall and the Fannie May candy sales at Christmas and Easter; ran the weekly hot lunch program; co-chaired the Fun Fair; and contributed her efforts to organizing the annual St. Mary’s Auction and Dinner Fundraiser for several years. She also worked on the parish MaryFest committee for several years. In 1995, Mrs. Meindl joined the St. Mary’s Parish School Staff as the school secretary. All three of her children graduated from St. Marys (Jessica ’96, Lisa ’98, and Bill ’00) and went on to St. Francis High School.
